Only connection I know of between my SHANAHAN family and the FARRELL family is that my Denis SHANAHAN and Ellen KERRIGAN were married by a priest named Peter E. Farrell (born c1835 Ireland) at St. Brigid's Church (Avenue B, New York City) in 1861. Do you know anything about Mary Bridget FARRELLs family at all? It hasn't helped me find my missing ones (I believe they are in a special 19th century Irish witness protection program!) but it might help others.
