I paid 80 Euro to the Tipperary town group and only received back information I already had! I have no experience of it but, for some reason, I have the impression that the Limerick Ancestry wasn't very dependable. I think it might be useful to know that the IFHF records may well be those transcribed under a government programme for unemployed school leavers some years ago. Apparently, in at least one county, when the quality/accuracy of the transcriptions was questioned the comment made was that the programme was to teach computer skills and was not a genealogical exercise at all! It would appear that in a number of counties (maybe all) there was no input from skilled researchers, genealogists or archivists. If these are the records then 10 euro is not only exhorbitant but would raise serious questions.
