Maureen, If you call up Google Maps and search for Bruff, Limerick, Ireland it will show you that Brackvoen is just south of Bruff. The site doesn't recognise Brackvoen if you type it in although it is shown on the map. Alternatively have a look at Michelin Maps I think that site recognises the name. Seeing the posts re Bruff, I wonder if anyone could assist with any infomation regarding my ggg grandfather...John McCarthy or his wife Maria Mulcahy who lived in and were married in Bruff.
