This is a GREAT resource to check out! It contains the ads that newly arrived immigrants to the US posted in the newpaper the Boston Pilot when they were trying to 'hook up' with their relatives who'd immigrated before them. Folks from other places (besides Boston) posted ads in this paper. My Limerick born ancestor Denis SHANAHAN posted an ad looking for O'CONNOR [aka CONNOR] cousins who were from the townlands of Dromsally and Cappamore in Co Limerick but at time the ad was posted he was living in the New York / New Jersey area.
