Patrick, I have no birth or marriage, just the Christening of her 3 children in Abbeyfeale from 1839 to 1845....Denis Collins was the father. Bridget migrated to Peel County, Ontario, where she married Patrick McAuliffe and raised another family. I have had to assume that Denis died either in Ireland or when they first got to Ontario. One of those first 3 children is my great grandfather Maurice Collins, who married in Peel County in 1863 and went into Michigan where I was born. I would KILL to know who Bridget belonged to...I've been to Ireland and have seen all the Enrights in the area from Glin down to Limerick and wondered if she belonged to one of these families. I visited with a Parish Priest in Abbeyfeale and asked him to suggest what parishes my couple may have been from and he suggested 4 over the border in Kerry. I personally went to those 4 places and knocked on the doors of the Priests there and they kindly looked through their records for the marriage of my couple, but nothing found. I had the Limerick Heritage Society(or whatever it's name was then) about 12 years ago find those Christenings for me in Abbeyfeale and they searched but they couldn't find the marriage of this couple and it was them who suggested I try over the border in Kerry. But I tried this new Irish database in Limerick just to leave no stone unturned. Do you have any use for these 3 marriages that I got from the Irish site? Barb, Sorry that you had 3 misses w/ your ENRIGHTS. Sorry too that the 'cross-referencing' didn't work; I've had some success cross-referencing like this but then one of the surnames I'm working w/ is fairly rare so I guess that increases my odds somewhat. I was glad to note that Maureen J. Chicoine wrote them, to tell them that she'd have been more willing to spend more $ if the bride/groom were cross referenced on the marriage records AND that they responded that they were considering this option. Perhaps if EACH of us who has spent $ on marriage records that turned out to be "wrong" would email and express our disappointment as Maureen did, it would make them realize that by making this enhancement they actually stand to gain (rather than lose customers) they would be more inclined to make the change. Only takes a sec to pop off an email... Address to write to: info@ifhf.ie ALSO I'd be interested in seeing what ENRIGHT marriages you ended up with as I ran across a SHANAHAN / ENRIGHT marriage in my "misses" too. ALSO per our Admin's email of 20 MAR 2008 (see http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/read/irl-limerick/2008-03/1206034825) IT IS OKAY TO SHARE YOUR IFHF RECORDS WITH THE LIST (until she advises us otherwise). Kathy Rhodes ------ Original message from "Barbara Gillon" <lewisroots@msn.com>: ------ I ordered 3 marriages of my BRIDGET ENRIGHT and none of them were the right ones...1837 and 1839...if anyone can use these, let me know. BTW, I did cross reference her with the same years of her groom, but it still didn't work out. Barb Gillon
