Hi! Recently on my first trip to Ireland (I visited Counties Clare, Kerry, and Limerick), I took this image, from some distance, of a bird. I spotted him in the Shannon estuary nearby the airport. Could anyone identify the bird for me? I'm not providing much to go on and do have my own interpretation but will withhold that, for now, so as not to influence any views. I realize this isn't a birding listserv, but I'm hoping someone can help. Thanks! Peggy
