I’ve been trying to piece together some of my heritage based on vague records from my father Doran Hughes. All dates and ages care approximate at best so there will be plenty of flexibility in researching. Kate Macterlagh I think lived some 160 years ago and was from the Limerick area. She was married to Bryan O’Doran from County Cork. I do not have any info on death dates or places. I only know that their son, Dan Doran lived in Canada with his wife Margaret Foley having at some point had a son John Doran who also lived in Canada with his wife Theresa O’Rielly.
