    1. [IRL-LIMERICK] Gallagher in Co. Limerick
    2. Jan
    3. Pat, I thought I would respond on the list in case anyone does have Gallaghers in this county. I have two Gallagher families and am trying to learn whether or not they might have been connected in the 1600's and early 1700's. One branch from my Glanworth, Cork, family moved to Anglesborough in Galbally parish. I have another family that appears in Kildorrery, Cork, parish in the mid 1700's. My direct line left there and moved just next door, which happened to be Co. Limerick. In the late 1700's or very early 1800's Thomas Gallagher settled in the townland of Kilcruaig, civil parish of Kilflyn, RC parish of Glenroe and Ballyorgan. His son Thomas settled in Houndscourt (same parish). Names in this line includ Thomas, Maurice, John, Terence, Michael, and Bartholomew. I have done extensive research on this line. Jan
