John Kearney or McKearney came to St John NB in 1842. He later settled in Yarmouth Maine in 1850. I found all this information from his Declaration of Citizenship from 1847 in Portland Maine. I am wondering how you came to find out that your Kennedy family was from Glin? You see, I have lots of Irish families that settled in Canada, but I cannot find out where they came from in Ireland. Do you have any suggestions of where to look? I do know that there are a lot of Mulvihill's in Glin.
