[iii] Can assume Edmund’s parents are buried in Kilfergus Mullins Family cem plot per Mary King. [iv] The town of Glin is about 28m sw of Limerick City on the Shannon River. Glin has the old St. Mary’s church now closed and Immac. Conception church now used. Also a cem referred to as the Kilfergus Cemetery with a Mullins family area. Special thanks to Eily Hogan of Glin for info and correspondence. Per e-mail from Mary King of Australia: There is Mullins burial plot in the Kilfergus Graveyard. I can give you more details, but the oldest burial recorded is: John Mullinswho was buried 1 November1880, aged 46 years. (b1834) [v]I am looking for history of Michael Mulvihill, born abt 1799 (d1852) in the Roman Catholic Parish of Glin County of Limerick. He married Ellen Kennedy born abt 1809-1875. They were married abt 1834. They left Ireland with one son Martin who was born abt 1837. They immigrated between 1838 and 1840, and died in Mount St. Patrick in Canada. [vi]Special thanks to Carol McMahon, of Washington State, thru Ancestry ‘McMahon’s of Belle River’. Mary Mullins is our common Mullins’ ancestor. She provided info on Mary Mullins and McMahon info. Also a great Byrne Family photo and info.
Capt Mullins rode the horse Bruree in the Dublin race. Bruree was on the winning Aga Khan Cup team. This is the only mention of a Mullins.
