    3. Basil, and you have looked for variations on the name like Keily, etc.? If not I guess I would look at the parishes surrounding Bourney parish and Oola parish. BOURNEY OR COURNGAREEN OR COURAGANEEN RC PARISH: In Diocese of Killaloe. This parish was divided up in 1846. Four townlands went to Kyle & Knock RC parish, and Boula went to Roscrea RC parish. In 1704, this RC parish had a detached part. One part was bounded by: Corbally on the N; one of more parishes in the diocese of Cashel & Emly on the E and S; Borrisnafarney on the SW; Rathnaveoge on the W. The other portion was bounded by one or more parishes in the diocese of Cashel & Emly on the E and S; Corbally on the W; Kyle on the N.In 1704, this RC parish had a detached part. One part was bounded by: Corbally on the N; one of more parishes in the diocese of Cashel & Emly on the E and S; Borrisnafarney on the SW; Rathnaveoge on the W.
