Have Bridget Kennedy married to Edmund Mullins both born Glin about 1805. Her father to be Timothy Kennedy. Also a  Ellen Kennedy married to : Michael Mulvihill, born abt 1799 (d1852) in the Roman Catholic Parish of Glin County of Limerick. He   married Ellen Kennedy born abt 1809-1875. They were married abt 1834. They left Ireland with one son Martin who was born abt    1837. They immigrated between 1838 and 1840, and died in Mount St. Patrick in Canada   Possible sisters?  Any info please.

Hi Chuck, I have family from Glin as well. John Kearney or McKearney came to St John NB in 1842. He later settled in Yarmouth Maine in 1850. I found all this information from his Declaration of Citizenship from 1847 in Portland Maine. I am wondering how you came to find out that your Kennedy family was from Glin? You see, I have lots of Irish families that settled in Canada, but I cannot find out where they came from in Ireland. Do you have any suggestions of where to look?
