My half-inch map No. 18, from 1968, shows the settlement by name, as does the Townland Index map - of some unknown date. The current Discovery map 59 (Hunt's Grove is in N. Tipp, BTW) shows a group of about 7 buildings, a little over a mile SSW of the small town of Templederry, at about 945 676. But there is no name shown for the location. Hunts Grove is located in the townland of Gortnagowna, in Templederry civil parish.
