Paul, I have checked Griffith's but found quite a few Dwyers scattered around the area. In particular there was a cluster of Dwyers near Pallasgrean. The two Dwyers (actually one is still an O'Dwyer) living in Croom today apparently moved to Croom from Pallas, so there may have been a link between the two, but I couldn't identify which were "my" Dwyers. I haven't checked the Tithes because I didn't know where they were available, but now I will. Marriages are supposed to go back to 1770, with some gaps. You might try Griffiths Valuation (now freely searchable on askaboutireland.ie, ancestry.com, Irish Times?and other sites). If you can?identify?your family?in Griffiths?(about 1851), then you could try to search the Tithes Applotment (1826) for the same location. You might not find a?firm parentage but at least the exact location they came from - which is about all that many of us can hope for! > ? > Paul Keroack??? > > --- On Tue, 3/29/11, Phil Albro<[email protected]> wrote: > > > From: Phil Albro<[email protected]> > Subject: [IRL-LIMERICK] Looking for Dwyer/Martin in Croom > To:[email protected] > Date: Tuesday, March 29, 2011, 10:28 AM > > > Hi.?
