    1. Re: [IRL-LIMERICK] IRL-LIMERICK] Hourigan
    2. I have Bourke/Burkes in my tree and more or less unrelated Hourigans I have picked up in my wanderings, and communications with Ruth Warmer. Both families are from Doon, Limerick and the surrounding area, and some of the Hourigans went to Australia. My Bourke's came to America (Minnesota).. I will send you a PDF of the Hourigans I have. It's always good to save ever scrap of potential relevant information. Ann Lamb In a message dated 1/3/2011 5:34:23 P.M. All records except the register of her last child, showed her maiden name as Nolan. The last child, Anne, it showed her maiden name as Hourigan. This info was provided by her husband John Burke. Do you suppose there could be a connection? She was from Limerick and all her children that I can trace were born in Australia. Joseph, Patrick, James, Bridget, Jane & Anne. I can not find any marriage cert or how she and her husband got from Ireland to Australia. Keeping my fingers crossed! Jane Dart Burke, O'Donnell
