    3. Hi Betty, I know that many children were sent to Western Australia. The main places they were sent to were Bindoon & Clontarf. In the 50's we had a number of the children spend a weekend with us. My mother would send them back with clothes,comics, fruit & sweets. She had a local store in Palmyra, Western Australia. Alas I am unable to remember their names or where they came from. Now when I read about those "Lost Children" I just wish that I had been more aware of what was going on. I myself was just a teenager so wasn't too interested at the time. They have had a great deal of publicity over the latter years. Perhaps if you contacted some of Government Agencies they may be able to help for there must be lists of these children. Happy New Year to everyone.
