I got so involved in reading the posts that I didn't realize that I was making a query only on the Ireland board. I will also post a query on the Iowa board and the McPartland board. I am not related to anyone in the photos, but I am very interested in geneaology and when I saw an old photo album in a local "goodwill"-type of store, I bought it. The pictures are just great - and there are alot of them. Many of them are specifically dated "1873". This album needs to be returned to this family. I'd love to know their stories! Other names: O'Brien, Smith, Harper (I think). Places mentioned: Chicago, Buffalo, NY, Burlington, Iowa, & the Churchill School in Illinois. Thanks for your quick response.
