I have come across a a few Cronyns in Canada. Except for Bishop Cronyn and his descendants, they seem to have been Catholic, although I have wondered if one lot were recent converts.If your lot were C of E, or C of Ireland, then perhaps there is a connection with ours. I don't know anything about the Bishop's siblings or what they did, so I don't know if any of the other Cronyns at Trinity were related. There were other friends and/or relations, some connected with Trinity, and they came out to Canada together. I don't know about the piano - it would have had a long and difficult trip as the Cronyns settled in what was still "frontier" Canada. I should think their early days were pretty meagre and rough, though eventually quite grand. I would be delighted to hear if you learn any more. Regards, Eve
