I have been researching my CLANCY family for about six years. As you probable know there aren't many films in the U.S. for catholics from county Leitrim. I'm not sure of the name of the church. They had 10 children all suppose to have been born in Manorhamilton.My gggrandfather's name was John Clancy married Cecelia Collins abt.1820 children were: Patrick b.abt.1820,Lackey b.abt.1831, Thomas b.1833, Anne b.1833, Rose b.1838,Cecelia abt. 1839, Abbie Teresa abt.1839,Mary abt.1842, Catharine 1845 & Peter 1848. I've taken the births from census. I think John might have died in Ireland, I never found him in the U.S. The rest of the family came to the United States, Boston, about 1855.
