    3. If one has any transcriptions of records; census et cetera WHERE can one post these for other people to use the resource. County Longford on rootsweb has its own record site for voluntry contributions, but none of the Free Leitrim websites appears interested in this type of data. I have various records of the Leitrim Militia from the French Wars [1793] to 1832. These are useful to tie up with the Tythe Applotments [1833] and Griffiths Valuation 1857. They contain names of young soldiers across all religious communities who were say 18 in 1793 onwards. And can be tied up with Chelsea Pensioners [the injured during the Napoleonic Wars]. Many I have found have left the Militia after a short experience to join regular forces, others upon discharge have settled in Canada. This can be viewed at Public Records Office, Kew, near London. [The only proviso I am told about public records that the posted on a site is that it MUST be for educational purposes. Family research is thought to be an Educational Purpose. Also that the data must be free to access and not on a pay to view site.]
