I have long thought there maybe a connection between your galogly and my Mary Galogly mentioned in an earlier post. I have found that the son of Mary Galogly Fitzpatrick of Carrigallen, Co. Leitim, John Fitzpatrick was naturalized in NYC Oct 1874 and his witness was Andrew Blessing. From 1880 census records, Andrew's father is Francis Blessing and mother is Kate Fitzpatrick Blessing.
