TERRY, of Waller Street, Providence, a native of Ireland, died yesterday at her summer residence, on Spruce Avenue in Narragansett. She was the wife of the late Paul M. Terry. Born in Ballimore [sic], County Lietram [sic], Ireland, a daughter of the late Peter and Mary Anne (Canning) McKiernan, she had lived in Providence for 76 years. Mrs. Terry was a former member of the Rosary and Altar Society of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament. She was a longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She leaves a son, Joseph E. Terry of Providence and Narragansett, with whom she lived; a daughter, Maureen Schreiner of Alexandria, Virginia.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was the mother of the late Paul J. Terry, and the sister of the late Mary Reynolds. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a.m. in the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Academy Avenue, Providence. Burial will be private.
