I have also been to Co Leitrim and have seen the statue. Was the house in that area? Wish I knew it was still there when I went in 2004. I contacted the local Ballinamore library, and the librarian was very helpful. I have a poster and the newspaper article published on one of the anniversaries of the event. I have the poster on my office wall. I see Seamus there in the top right corner and my relative is in the upper left-hand corner. Do you have copies of these items? I also visited the grave site in Aughnasheelin. I also have the book which is great.
