    1. Re: [LEITRIM] Are there any Ireland addresses listed on the internet.
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/YWC.2ACI/5429.2 Message Board Post: You can send it to the Reynolds Family and the name of the townland/civil parish in County Leitrim. There are no postal codes as yet outside Dublin City. If you're referring to the latest Valuation office page with the following link those are commercial and industrial valuations from 1998 to 2000 and not private residences. http://www.valoff.ie/search/search.asp To find specific detail from Griffiths in Leitrim which was done in 1856 you would need to look at the detail included in the actual valuation at http://www.irishorigins.com and not an online transcription of the records which doesn't give the detail of the occupiers and lessors or the property description itself. It is really unlikely you'll receive a response. Most people in Ireland today really don't have either the time or interest in responding to such queries because people are just too busy with their own lives and their families. The queries are also becoming more numerous as more information is put online. More and more people are now receiving these "cold" letters from all over the world trying to make connections from 150+ years ago and it's really not of much interest to most people today. If you have traced the family through the local parish records and the 1901 and 1911 census records and have the names of those specific family members still remaining in 1911 who were connected to your ancestors that would at least narrow the gap to just under 100 years. But it's still along shot. The vast majority of people in Ireland know their immediate "roots" and really have no need for any further information.
