My greatgrandfather John Knott b. 1810 in Leitrim Co. near or in Caragallen. He and sisters Rebecca Irwin and Elizabeth Mitchell and families came to U.S. ca 1830, as Rebecca had a child born in New York in 1830 then come to Highland Co., OH. John's naturalization is in 1849.
