There are about 1500 towns and townlands. What were her parents names and religious denomination? There are no census records for Ireland for the 1800s and civil registration didn't start until 1864 (Protestant marriages in 1845). Church registers for her specific location of birth in County Leitrim and religious denomination would be the source for her baptismal information. Immigration records would be in the US and would consist of ships passenger lists or US naturalisation records. Ships passenger lists were handed in at the port of arrival. Regards.
