I was reviewing the 1901 census images on the LDS microfilm, and was disappointed to notice that the person making the microfilm skipped some of the beginning pages that showed if a person had a barn, cow shed, piggery, etc. It seems he/she copied the top of the page, but not the back of the sheet. Are there other versions of the 1901 census available somewhere? Although this isn't must-have information, it does make the narrative in the history more interesting! Thank you, Susan
> Are there other versions of the 1901 census available somewhere? According to John Grenham's book, Tracing Your Irish Ancestors, other than LDS Family History Library, they are available in Ireland at PRONI (Northern Ireland) and at the National Archives of Ireland in Dublin. Checking another book, Irish Libraries, I found they are also part of the holdings of the Kilkenny County Library in Kilkenny City. -- Pat Connors, Sacramento CA http://www.connorsgenealogy.com http://www.connorsgenealogy.net
