I am related to Steven Reynolds by common ancestor we have not yet found. We match on all 37 markers with our DNA from familytreedna. I believe Steve mentioned he had a relative who was also researching. Are you his relative? I have a Patrick Reynolds and Sarah Baxter and their son Michael Reynolds in Mohill Co Leitrim. Michael Married Catherine McGinnis in 1851 in St Patrick's in Mohill, daughter of Phillip McGinnis and Margaret unknown. They appear to be the familys shown on Griffith's Valuation living in the Drumboy townland or close by. There is no evidence to show that my Patrick or his wife left Ireland. Steven said his Patrick came to Canada. Thus with two Patricks, if they are related, I think it would have to be by having a common Grandfather or prehaps further back. I dont see how we can get further back with known records in Ireland. My Michael Reynolds and Catherine came to RI in 1865 and stayed. The children spread out from there. If you are related to Steve, have him give you my email address and you can contact me direct if you wish. I envy you going to Ireland.Steve told me he solved the Briggs puzzle. Jack
