Samuel had two brothers who also came to North America - David and Dixon. There also may be a connection in Ireland to the Wark family as there certainly is in Canada. It is highly possible Samuel's parents are William and Ann Carson. After spending much time and energy on searching Armagh as their birthplace as related in our oral history I find in the 1851 Census for Canada they list their birthplaces as Leitrim.
