Does anyone know where someone might have left Ireland by ship in the 1760 timeframe, if they lived near Stradbally, Ireland? And if there are any records. Thanks Earline
They would have left from Dublin most likely if heading for England and then Cobh in Cork if heading elsewhere - ship lists for that time frame are few and far between. You're probably talkinout some who would have left as members of the army or those who may have left to go work on some land held by a landlord from their home locality in the new World - whichever part.
