    3. I have just received the microfilms for the Aghaboe and Abbeyleix parish areas. Can anyone help me understand the columns? In particular, what do the letters A, R, P mean? I know that one of these columns indicates how many acres were being farmed and how many were being rented, but I can't figure which is which. What exactly was an "office"? was it a word for home? Also, I am searching for the Bolger family. I find only 5 or six entries and a couple of them have the same name. For example, Joseph Bolger was renting land, office, and building in one area and then he shows up renting just land somewhere else nearby. I had read where the surveyor would write down Joseph(James) to distinguish between father and son and others with the same name-but that is not the case here. Does anyone out there have digital images (Rastor, vector, or arcview) or even hard copies of the ordnance survey maps for this area, that I could purchase? I understand that the OSI (Ordnance Survey of Ireland) sells them, but I hear they never seem to answer their e-mails regarding pricing. Thanks, Irene
