Born 1826 or 28 in Ballinakill, County Laois. Son of John Dooley and Mary Feen. Sisters and brothers: John b 1824, James b 1829, Mary b 1831, Catherine b 1833. Michael came to USA in 1849, supposedly departed from Cork, port of arrival is unknown, and settled in Illinois. Where do I go from here? Needed are departure date/port, arrival date/port. And a bunch of other things, but this will do for now. I have information that descendants of his siblings may still live in County Laois but have been unable to contact them, or receive a response. Are there any Dooleys out there with a Ballinakill connection who can help solve the mystery? Thanks
