Did Joseph not have any sons? that would give you a clue--if they followed the traditional naming pattern the eldest son should have been named for Joseph's father. And I should also have added that your best bet to find any further records would be parish registers. Do you know if the family was Catholic, Episcopal, Methodist, or? Then you would want to see if there are any surviving registers for the relevant religion for Dysartenos parish. If nothing there, I have no idea where to turn next--sorry!
