Hello to all researchers My g.g.grandfather James Gardiner was from Queens County. He was transported on the Egyptian (2) 1840 with his brother Thomas for 7 years in Tasmania. Is there any way I can find out where James came from in (then) Queens County? I have the Convict Records but cannot find anything other than Queens County. The National Archives of Ireland Search results say that...."Convict was convicted with his brother, James. Convicts widowed mother, two sisters and a brother are dependant on their support.
