I am sorry for not mentioning I had the following information about him 1880 Census Standish Acres I Chicago, Cook, Illinois, a printer, aged 45 from Ireland birth date of 1837. Died 11/25/1905 married 10/18/1859 to Matilda Bernabe of & in Montreal Canada Anglican Faith. I also have the 1880 census in Chicago, Il. Standish arrived in the Port of New York from Liverpool in July 1857 from there I found him in Montral, Canada where he met Matilda Bernabe or Barnaby born 10/01/1939 in Canada died 1912 Chicago,il. Found the baptism of daughter Mary Matilda in 1861 and the burial of son Standish in 1865. There is another Acres couple - George and Annie. They were godparents for Mary Matilda. Standish and Matilda C. were godparents for several of George and Annie's children (1861, 1863). George was a Staff Sergeant 1st Battalion Seventeenth Regiment 17th regiment of Foot, and also I believe he was Standish"s brother as word from my parents has it he had a twin brother. Later in 1863, when his son Thomas George was baptized, looks like George was a color Sergeant 1st Battalion 17th Regiment of Foot. I have not been able to find Standish nor Matilda's record of immigration from Canada nor his ship record in New york to find the name of his parents or town of birth in Ireland.
