Greetings, My Dooley relatives are also from Laois but I haven't been able to figure out where. My ggGrandfather was Richard Dooly and, as far as I have been able to determine, his father's name was Patrick. Richard was born in 1804 and married Catherine Hickey. They had three boys befoe leaving Ireland and immigrating to Wisconsin. Catherine's brother in Wisconsin supposedly paid their fare. If you find anything, I would be very interested in knowing. I will share whatever information I have.
