My grandmother was Ida Wrest (married name Leslie) and I believe the Elizabeth Wrest below was her sister as my mothers cousins were Brophys (John, Mary and Paddy). The placename Clonincurragh also rings a bell from stories of my mothers. I don't know very much about the family going back farther, so any information would be very welcome!
