Sharon, What is your interest in the Jessops? do you have any information on earlier Jessops? My Gr-gr grandfather, Robert Jessop was born in Mountrath, County Laois, IR in 1802. Family lore says his father was also Robert and his mother's name was Elinor but I have no documentation on this. If you have any information about Jessops that might tie into my line, I would be delighted to hear from you.
