It's not a surname that would be easy to find on a search in anyone's files given that the spelling you use is the same as that od a first name. I'm sure you are fuly aware of this, as any search for the surname Cornelius will turn you up tons of references to sites with the first name Cornelius. You might like to check out thsi Mary though, whether she was a widow, living with a family - whatever.
