There's a good variety and you can get and compare prices and what they'll do for you for the price quoted. Other services can have some problem with timeliness and responsiveness. There's also a list of researchers on the National Archives of Ireland website that's a good one too. Ireland is very small, people don't have to live in or near Laois to do research in Laois while living elsewhere in Ireland. You can get from east coast to west coast in Ireland in about 3 hours without a meal break so researching the entire country isn't that difficult. I'm a professional genealogist in Ireland with ancestors in Laois (and other places too) but can't help at the moment or the foreseeable future because I'm working on commissions for people in Ireland and the US.
