Hello list I've just discovered that my g-g-granduncle, MICHAEL CONNORS/O'CONNOR and his wife JANE DEMPSEY had a grocery & provisions shop from at least the 1880's, in French Church Street, Portarlington Town. Michael retired c. 1906, when one of their sons, THOMAS and wife MARY, took over the business. I'd love to have any photos of the shop/street from those times, or any information about the business, so if anybody can help me, I'd be delighted to hear from them. Thanks in advance. Colette
