On October 30, 2011 The St. Patrick Society of the Quad Cities unveiled a stunning bronze sculpture to the Irish who settled in the Quad Cities during the Great Hunger, 1845 - 50. It is located on the grounds of the Charles Wright Transportation Center, 2nd and Harrison Streets, downtown Davenport, Iowa.
