So 1926 is the next. I know the 1901/1911 are free and do refer people to this, I don't think I was talking about that when I referred to costs. I don't understand the UK selling theirs to the pay for view either perhaps they didn't want to bother with digitization. I use a free bmd site for England. Its pretty good. I believe I was talking about the History Foundation whose members are the individual county genealogy offices and the auditor general's reviews. I try to think of it as bringing income to these county offices but it is sometimes beyond some people budget and definitely the Ancestry information is well beyond many people's affordability with what little info they have on Ireland.
