Hi List After years and years of wondering, I've just discovered the details of how and when my great-grandaunt HENRIETTA DWYER nee KENNEDY (born in Portarlington Oct 1874) travelled from Sydney, Australia to Ireland for the Eucharistic Congress in Dublin in June 1932. It was an epic journey, and of course I'm very excited and delighted to have finally found the info! Another interesting bit is that, according to the Ships Records, her proposed address was BARRY VIEW, Portarlington, and I'm wondering who lived at that address then as I've never come across it before? It was probably one of her siblings (she had about 6 still alive & living in Portarlington then) but I have a feeling it may have been her sister, MARY ANNE McGUINNESS.
