I note that your Haslam connection is R/C. I know that on the Island (PEI), the Haslam families really married pretty much within the Protestant church up until around 1920's. As I have been reading your postings for quite a while, the thought continually goes thru my mind, did someone cross the religious line in the late 1700's or was there a division in the family religion a 100 plus years earlier. I till think that we are all generally connected, we just haven't yet come across that "keystone" person.
