I only know that the Cassins married in to to the Fitzpatrick family and where they were from; very little detail on their Irish heritage. If you send me your email I will forward pages from our family tree with more exact dates. They ended up in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, US, a very rural and wild part of the US at the time. Mostly native American Indians; very isolated. Many people came to Wisconsin to work in the forests (lumber and saw mills were everywhere or the beaver and fur industry. Fur trapping was everywhere along the many rivers; especially Green Bay area in the mid-1850s. There was a "John Casson" from Viroqua, Vernon County, Wisconsin in the Civil War (1862) but not sure if it is the same family as this county is a distance from Waupaca County.
