Entry no 47, page 163 of the Tithe Applotments Register for the year 1830 held at the National Archives in Dublin provides the following info: Name: Widow Goss, land size 3 Acres, first class one acre, second class two roods and third class one acre two roods. the annual tithe was four shillings and seven pence one farthing. Only one of the surname recorded for Trummery townsland.I came upon this information while researching my own family records in the tithe registers. Only one Goss ..a William Goss is recorded at map ref 56 with house and land size one acre one rood and 24 perches at Griffiths valuation for the same townsland, then spelled as Trumra. When comparing land sizes for both valuations one must account for tithes values in irish acres and griffiths in statute (english) acres. one irish acre = 1.619 statute.
