Joe, Is the film you're reading from the FHL? I have two films for St. Joseph's RC Mountmelick on permanent loan but can't distinguish how the people are separated. Would it be same parish different townlands? My Corcorans are from Rosenallis, Mountmelick, Skerry & Clonaheen. So, if you had an approx date, it would be very helpful. However, there is a partial index at the end, from about 1839 - 1870's...I will look for these Carter children and let you know what I find.
