    3. Thanks Tom, Do you know what year it was. The first child was born in Australia in 1862, so I thought the marriage should have been around 1860/61. we know they arrived in Australia in 1861/62. What is the IFHF and how do I get to it. This sounds really promising. Record id 695681 I can't say that you will get any further information from the record as its just a church record and father/mother may not be mentioned. There may be a sibling though in the witnesses to the marriage and an address. Martin O'Grady born about 1832, Queens County Ireland son of Michael O'Grady and Mary Ann Kenny married Margaret Catherine Purcell approx 1862 in Kil Ninney or Kilkenny (cant read the writing) Roman Catholic. Margaret's parents were Phillip Purcell and Julia Lacey. Martin and Margaret emigrated to Victoria, Australia in 1862/3 along with possibly her parents. Family folklore has it that Martin may have been a policeman in Ireland. Any Help would be great.
