My great-great grandfather, Jonathan Haslam, was born in Mountmellick, Queens County about 1796, he married about 1820s to 1835 to Mary (maiden name unknown, maybe Henesey), Mary was born about 1804-1808. Jonathan and Mary Haslam/Haslem are thought to have had several children, however, in the absence of Census Records it is not known how many children they had. Two are confirmed so far, my great grandfather, Alfred Haslam, born February 1841, Mountmellick, and William, born about 1835-37, Mountmellick. Jonathan immigrated to Canada through the Port of New York January 26, 1849; Mary, William, and Alfred immigrated mid 1850s. It is not know if they came together or if other siblings also came. No passenger ship list/manifest have yet been found. Any information, assistance, or direction that can be provided would be very greatly appreciated. Gary S.A.
